Finished my Afghan

 Today I get thinking of family, sent a text to my Granny

I did 30 Granny squares this last two days.

I get doing Granny squares and send her a text.  This got started last year I think but I only had 10 squares by 4 squares.  Now it's ten squares by nine squares.

I originally bought the yarn years ago.  While my sister still lived in Canada.  Those were the colours I was to make her an Afghan.  Now she's sort of some where warm.  I drape it over her couch she gave me.  I've have so much yarn still from those years volunteering to crochet with seniors.  I bought lots, now I'm just trying to use up what I initially got over several years ago.

I'm not going to say much else on family, although I remember an uncle like to read and am thinking of him as of late.

Miss family, wish I could come visit more, as I crochet, took a dog for a walk after I finished the afghan.

And now just making a quick note this season.

I started crocheting to quit smoking and keep my hands busy.  Now I'm just chewing tobacco.

This post was from December last year when I last worked on this afghan.

My wife asked me to make her a blanket, so she could say I made her one.  I'm arguing with my self to get stuff out of the house not collect it.  So I'm torn on seeing it stay or seeing it go out of the house to stay.

I thought of donations to the hospital but they probably have lots of blankets already.

I see 😁, this blanket will most likely stay here.
