May 2 chair build

 Making Chairs

I get sweeping after a day in the garage making Chairs.  I sit down and get a quick photo.  The chairs are quite balanced and sturdy.

When I was in the disability worker field.  I would do a class of individuals and make chairs to sell.

Seems like a decade ago. But really only 5 years about.  These Chairs have a bit more to it and would be harder to fall apart.

We got to fixing the chairs from the ability resource centre.  We out carriage bolts in and thicker stability studs.  Put counter sink screws that were bigger.

Those were done in spruce instead of cedar.  I got to be happy that they weren't wobbling.  We did the first one out of all weather wood and the others in cedar.

We visit with my nieces and nephew.  Well I sat there, and kids visited with grandparents as my brother read a outdoor magazine to his son.  Saying words he didn't know.  Then he went around saying types of fish 🐟🎏. The Nieces got talking of polishing rocks soon to be geologist.

The visit was short and we got building chairs again. It is a good day.

There's talk of building chairs for camp.

We talk it over and get discussing we could build some chairs out at camp. It came up in conversation as we finished.  We are getting good speed at it and have the time.  It's a good project and think it would be needed.  After the tent departed seemed we wouldn't get back out there.  But now we're thinking day trips or another way of doing is.

Will have to hike in cause the snow is to deep to drive in.  To check if it's in ok shape.  Winters can be hard up there and leading to think it's a good place forward for people, hopefully are folks wall tent is going to a good need who ever took it out of there And is a way we could get out in the mountains 😉.

This is the chair. We made another one for Nathan for his birthday.  And made a few.  The project went well.  I spent the whole day with my dad.  We went to Lowe's and ate out for breakfast.  My mom made us pull deer with cooked cabbage in a bun in the middle of the chair build.

And now I'm completely done at home. Kim bought us burgers and were cooking Fries.  She got the burgers at m&m meats.  Which is a nice summer idea.  It's Raining on and off ☺️ and you can smell other people BBQ as well also some back yard fire 🔥 I could smell smoke.

Kim dropped by just as we were packing up chairs in the truck to becoming over.

And took the dog out for a walk which she got her walk delayed.  She really had to go. Picked two black bags worth and she was saying let me out.  Went for a twenty minute walk. And she was probably going where is this Nigel it's time for my walk.  Dixie would of been looking out the front window at everyone walk and going when I'm I getting my walk.

The pup in her gets the best she was thrilled when I got home.  It was even hard for me to use the amenities with your four legs and a tail wagging to get her turn out.

The start of Shenton Creation's

This 2021 we are starting, A new endeavour.  A project that has been talked about for the new year is Kim and my time crocheting, so wood projects and treats we make for our dog.   Hopefully this is the start of an encouraging way to discover new ways into our friends, family and ourselves in a journey with a project, this will commemorating our first blog together, one I have been asking Kim to start for some time.  Hopefully to have more enthusiasm to keep up with our little knickknacks and novelties. To make trinkets in out time and share these moments of thought together bringing about well-spent time jointly. Next post will be on the afghan that I have been working together and could be done on a solid color or two colors of picking. The suspense of this afghan is squares, with white trim. Here part of it set on a chair. Kim is working on a pink one that I will work on the trim as soon as we have enough squares.    Over the holidays 🎄 🎅 w...
